Most of us are trying to be reasonably in tune with what is happening around us and around the world. We live on news and stories and tales and promotions that spin in a repetitious fashion that creates anxiety. An anxiety that destabilizes the base of our existence. Like forgiveness, hope and dreams are a deliberate and intentional emotion. As farmers, we cannot live in fear and doom and gloom. We have to live the day and praise the blessings and do the duties that keep us whole. This week reconfirmed to me that our world is not as big as people make it, and our dreams are bigger than our world. And our hopes are rooted in our duty. And our happiness is close to home. Live a little, laugh a lot and enjoy today because you can.
