THE LEGEND

As bold as WW II torpedo bomber pilot Jimmy Hines, this Texas bourbon embodies his heroic adventures as well as freedom found in no other spirit. Jimmy’s is a true Texas icon.

Jimmy’s pilot goggles are the inspiration for the brand and his attitude is the inspiration for the tagline…Through Hero’s Eyes

Tools:
Mixing glass with ice
2 oz jigger
Bar spoon
Strainer
Whiskey glass with ice ball

Ingredients:
5 dashes orange bitters
3 dashes bitters
1/2 oz simple syrup
2 oz Jimmy's Bourbon

Garnish:
Cut an orange peel carefully (two fingers width) and twist over the glass to add a hint of orange oil. Rub the peel around the side of the glass to add aroma. We don't recommend flaming the orange peel. While it is fun and flashy, it can give an off-burnt taste detracting from the natural Bourbon flavors.

Cherries are optional, but not necessary. When we do add cherries, they are Luxardo cherries soaked for a few days in Jimmy's Texas Bourbon. Heaven!

Pro tip:
Muddling increases bitterness, so there's no need to muddle.
